The next project I was set was titled 'Narrative Illustration'. For this I had to explain a narrative in a step-by-step process.
I began researching into food preparation and cooking, although as my research unfolded, I was also looking at 'How to become a food critic'. It took me a while to decided on a strong narrative, as once I began experiementing with the food critic idea, it quickly became apparent that it wouldn't work. Eventually I went for 'How to boil an egg'.
Initially, I drew out a few possibilities of how this could be presented. I researched into info-graphics and felt that this would be a good way of illustrating my final design (this is shown below).
